AB:BACKGROUND:the WHO had reported:there
are more than 18 billian-deafness patients in the
world and Eagles had reported:there are 8.5 Million
deafness Patiends in American. the Chinese Disability
personal Assoeiation had reporled: there are 17.70
million deafness Patiends(include 1.74 million under
fourteen years old deafness child),and there are
tewnty throusands New boy suffer from deaf have
happed every year.in the patients,the Sense-nervous
deaf is most and is to lost hearing.We had have
analysised 996 deafness child's Cause,to find the
sense-nevouse deafness more than 86.3 per cent and
befor 3 years patient suffer from deaf is all most
deaf-mute,when they grow a dult.
METHOD:104 patients 220 ears (incude:12 patients
is single ear with deafness) with sensenevous deaf
was treated with NGF (the nervous growth factor,
be made in the second Univercity of the P.L.A Man)
5000 infectromuscle one time every day. and oral
Chinese herb pill there time every day after dinner,
each pill is 9 grame. every twenty day is one treatment
circle. after three to six circles the treatment
is finished.the Chinese herb pills is maily made
from: Acorus Calamus L、Alisma
plantago-aquatica L.var. orientale Sam、Angelica
sincnsis Diels、Angelica
taiwaniana Boiss、A tractylodes
lancea DC、Gastrodia elata
BL、Ligusticum wallichii
Franch、Magnctite、Manis
Pentadactyla L 、Polygonatwm
cyrtonema Hua、 Psoralea
corylifolia L salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge、
xanthium sibiricum patr.et widd and the ratio is
1:1:3:1:3:2:3:6:1:4:2.
RESULTS: in the 104 patienl's 220 ears (cincludc:12
patients is single ear with deafness):33 ears hearing
lcve got observed effective(marketly cffective rate
15%); 67 ears got cffeclive (rat 30.45%); effective
19 ears not got effeclive(rat 40.5%).Notc: (1)The
hearing lcve recover over 15dB (declble) is marketly
effective;(2)Over 10 dB to 15 dB is effeclive;(3)
Over 5 dB to 10 dB is slight effective; (4) Bclow
5dB is no effective.
DISCUSION:During the treatment research show:
NGF have stronger biologic activity to recover the
healed nevers. Special, to cort cells and hearing
never.It is a effective reprodnctive gene for hearing
never. NGF casn initate the activity of injurous
and dispression nevous cells; adjust hearing nevous
cells supcrsession. GNF can support the nervous
cells suvivc and growth,prevent norvous cells to
dic asnd dccrepit.NGF can let the nervous cells
split up ,and introduct nevous mcdium and improve
the Cabitity of dispote the medium. NGF can improve
the cnviroument for ncvous cells to live. The Chinese
herb pill that make patient's hearing ncrve improved.
In the mean time, specially-made traditional Chinese
medicine (herbs) are used step by step. First,the
medicine that helps open the ear-door, then medicine
makes died calls of hearing never been absorbed,and
new cells grow . Finally, a kind of special medicine
that enlarge the volum of blood and cochlea So that
the surviving undamaged cells of hearing nearing
nerve can be divided and reproduced.
CONCLUSIONS: Present. It is very difficult
to treat the sense-nervous deafness in the world,
but it is useful way to combine NGF and Chinese
herb pill. In treatment ; the more early the treatment,
the more cffectivc; the more yourer, the more abily;
the longer treatment, the more recover chamce.
